At Sit Happens, we teach foundational obedience to puppies and beyond. We also help dogs with behavioural issues achieve the balance they need to live happily with their families. We welcome all breeds. Our balanced, leadership-based methods are proven to be highly effective. With one-on-one lessons, you will learn invaluable handling skills alongside your dog. We will teach you the tools you need to become an awesome pack leader.
As a trained psychotherapist, I am fascinated by the parallels between human and canine behaviour. I have chosen to dedicate my life to dogs and their families as we work together to achieve balance within our blended packs. When a dog is rehabilitated, a ripple effect is created: The dog's life is positively transformed along with their human family. This amazing experience leads to peace within the pack. With over a decade of experience working with a wide range of different animals including exotic pets, I am here to offer services to assist local pet owners in the luxury of your own home. Prior to Sit Happens, I worked as a Dog Daycare Supervisor, Senior Instructor of Training, and volunteered my time with exotics and their furry counterparts. I am First Aid and CPR Certified.
We are all about meeting your needs, no matter what they are! If training is not your thing, we offer boarding at our home, sitting at your home, and walking around the neighbourhood for a balanced and healthy dog.
